The western part of Colorado Springs is nice and open and undeveloped; from Garden of the Gods, all the way to Cheyenne Mountain. The mountains are part of Pike National Forest, and much of the foothills are now protected from subdivisions by city and county parks.

There can be quality among a half a million people!
